Turquoise Sun Star Pendant & Necklace Kumihimo Braid Cord Silver Plated

One of a kind hand woven necklace and pendant.

Made from 8 strands of nylon silk rattail cord that have been hand woven under tension using the Japanese braiding method called Kumihimo. Kumihimo braids are incredibly strong yet soft and flexible and very tactile.

The multicoloured threads complement the turquoise sun star pendant very well, this colourful braid is a real customer favourite!

The Necklace is 16 inches long with a 2 inch extension chain.
The pendant has a drop of 2 inches approximately and is 1.5 inches wide.

The pendant is antique silver with a faux turquoise gemstone in the centre.

The braid has been hand stitched prior to securing in the silver plated end caps and a silver 925 lobster clasp has been added providing durability and security.
