The braided cord was handwoven using the Japanese Kumihimo Braiding Technique. It is made from 16 individual strands of silk rattail cord to produce a thick chunky braid with a beautiful spiral pattern in 4 different colours.

Kumihimo braids are created under tension, resulting in a tightly woven fabric that is both strong and lightweight. They also have a lovely sheen and a silky tactile feel.

• Tibetan silver clasps and end caps complement the thick 11mm thick braid.
