A Handcrafted Kumihimo Braided Necklace in Emerald Green with a Silver Heart Pendant

This exquisite necklace is meticulously crafted using 8 strands of rattail nylon silk cord, totalling approximately 12 yards. The Japanese braiding technique known as kumihimo is employed to create the intricate braids. Kumihimo braids are woven under tension, resulting in a robust and dense braid that is remarkably lightweight and flexible. The tactile sensation is delightful, and the necklace exudes a captivating sheen.

The necklace measures 20 inches in length, excluding the pendant. The silver pendant, approximately 1.5 inches in diameter, features two simulated emerald stones crafted from acrylic.
